The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education will commence the Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exams 2022 from Feb 12.

According to the MPBSE schedule, the board examinations for Class 10 will continue from Feb 18 till March 10, 2022, and for Class 12, the exams will continue from Feb 17 till March 12, 2022. The practical exams for the board classes will also start from Feb 12 and will continue till March 31, 2022.

Ahead of the board exams, the Board School Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar has released the new schedule for the board examinations. Instead of 09 am to 12 noon, the board exams will now be conducted from 10 am to 01 pm, as notified by the Education Minister.

Moreover, the Board has also announced to conduct the exams according to the newly released pattern as proposed in NEP (New Education Policy) 2020. According to the new pattern, the question papers for both the classes will comprise 40% subjective questions, 40% objective questions, and 20% analytical-type questions.

For Class 10, the weightage of the theory portion is 80 marks and of practical/ project work is 20 marks. For Class 12, the weightage of the theory portion is 70 marks and of practical/ project work is 30 marks.

No change has been introduced in NSQF, DLEd, and Old Professional course exams.
