The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has cancelled the Class 10 Board Exam 2021. The MPBSE has also postponed the Class 12 Board Exam till further orders.

The State Govt took the decision due to the spike in COVID-19 cases across the nation. The official notice regarding this has also been uploaded on the official site at mpbse.nic.in.

According to the official notice, the Class 12 examination schedule will be released by the board when the situation upgrades. The Class 12 students will be notified at least 20 days prior to the examination.

For Class 10, the board has cancelled the exams directing that gathering students could spread the virus more.

The assessment criteria for Class 10 exams has also been released by the Board. According to the criteria, the board will consider the performance of the students on the basis of their assessment in half-yearly, pre-board, internal assessments and unit tests held during the academic session. The students will also be provided grace marks in case they fail to score passing marks to promote them.

The students who did not appear for any of the exams including pre-boards/ unit tests throughout the year will be assessed as fail. Such candidates will be advised to repeat the class in the next academic session.
