The examination dates and format of the exams have been released for the final year examinations by the Mumbai University. The authorities have notified all affiliated colleges that the exams will be conducted in online mode and in MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) format.

The option to appear for the exam in offline mode will be available to the students who couldn't appear for the online exam due to some personal genuine reason.

Earlier, Mumbai University released the notification stating that the practical and theory exams will be held from 15 September and 25 September respectively for reappearing students and from 01 October to 17 October for fresh candidates.

As per the official release, the exam will be conducted for 50 marks in each subject and the total time duration will be 01 hour. The PwD candidates will be given an extra 20 minutes to attempt the paper and they will also have the option to choose a scribe.

An online survey will be scheduled by MU and its affiliated colleges to make sure that the residential area of the students has a proper internet connection and what gadget will be used by them for the online exam. A helpline number will also be issued by the authorities for the guidance of the students. The option to set their own time table has also been provided to the colleges but the exam date must not be changed.

A notice has also been issued to the affiliated colleges to schedule a mock test for the candidates according to the new format of the exam and also advised to issue sample papers for the preparation.
