Amid coronavirus pandemic, a plea has been filed in the Supreme Court to postpone or withdraw the NEET and JEE Mains exam. The exams are scheduled to be conducted in September month.

The plea has been filed by 11 students belonging to 11 states. As per the plea, the exams should be conducted only after the normalcy is restored.

As per the notification issued by the National Testing Agency, NEET-UG is scheduled for 13 Sept. whereas JEE Mains is scheduled for 01 Sept. to 06 Sept.

"There are lakhs of students who can't appear in exams due to the no internet connectivity and there are some areas reeling in flood also. To conduct exams, whether online or offline, will not be possible in such circumstances" as per the filed plea.
