The Cambridge International has declared the results for the June series..
The Cambridge International has declared the results for the June series in India. The results have been announced for the IGCSE i.e. Class 10; International AS i.e. Class 11, and International A i.e. Class 12.
The exams for the June series had been cancelled by Cambridge International due to the COVID-19 situation and the results have been declared after careful consideration from the government, educational authorities and schools around the world. While awarding the marks, the standardization process has been followed.
The topper scored 97.2% in IGCSE at SVKM JV Parekh International School whereas at Witty International School, Malad the top score is 93.8%.
This programme is offered by around 500 colleges in India and the most popular series is March series due to its result timing which matches the admission time period of Indian colleges.
The result for the May series will be based on their internal assessment. The students were given the alternative to either opt for the marks based on their internal assessment or for the November series exams.
"These are unprecedented times. I feel these results will hope and encourage students to plan for their future. We are doing all we can to allow students to continue their education, despite the viral outbreak." said Mr. Srivastava, Regional Director for South Asia, Cambridge International.
