TN Board Exam Result 2020 in July 2020: As per the latest update, the Tamil Nadu SSLC, Plus One and Plus Two Results 2020 will be announced in 3rd Week of July 2020. The news has been confirmed by TN Education Minister K A Sengottaiyan through a tweet from his official twitter account. As the Directorate of Education, Tamil Nadu, is yet to hold the pending board exams for SSLC students this year. As per the information provided by TN Education Minister, the DGETN will formally announce the exact date of the results once the SSLC Exams 2020 are held successfully.



SSLC Exam 2020 from 15th June 2020

The Class 10 Board Exams of TN were postponed due to increase in COVID-19 cases in the state. However, the state government has now decided to hold exams in mid-June 2020, with all the necessary precautions and guidelines in place for the examination. A total of 9.5 lakh students are expected to appear for the Class 10 / SSLC Exam 2020 this month. On 4th June 2020, TNDGE also released the SSCL Admit Card 2020 for the upcoming exams.



Social Distancing Norms, Guidelines for SSLC Exams

Keeping in mind the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the state, the government has made elaborate arrangements to ensure that students do not become victims of Coronavirus infection during the exams. To ensure this, TNDGE has put in the necessary arrangements for enforcement of exam day guidelines and social distancing norms. The total number of exam centres has been increases and the seating arrangement has also been tweaked to ensure proper social distancing. As per the official data, the exam will be held from at 12,690 exam centres to allay apprehensions of parents and students over the possible contract of COVID-19 while appearing for the board exams. Reports also indicate that masks will be distributed to about 46.37 lakh students, besides teachers and other staff during the examination period.
