The UT Education Department has invited applications in private schools under the Right To Education Act from parents belonging to the EWS category. Every year the department invites the applications for the vacant seats.

This year, 74 seats in private schools are being offered which were left vacant after the admission process in February.

The application form can be filled in online mode and the duration to apply is from 10 August to 14 August. The details regarding the seats, eligibility criteria, required documents are available on the official website.

If any student wishes to apply to different schools, two different forms must be filled. The link for the form will be available on www.chdeducation.gov.in.

The parents can check the schools they have applied to, for the application status from 24 August to 26 August.
