In response to the disruptions caused by adverse weather conditions and the ongoing challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Delhi government, led by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, has introduced the Delhi Model Virtual School (DMVS). This initiative aims to establish a hybrid schooling model to ensure uninterrupted education for students, even in the face of unpredictable circumstances.

Delhi's Education Minister, Atishi, shared insights into the DMVS, highlighting its role in realizing the government's vision of delivering quality education to every child, transcending geographical barriers. The virtual school employs cutting-edge studio technology and well-trained teachers to conduct live classes while sharing digital resources with students.

The primary goal of DMVS is to develop a hybrid schooling model that combines both offline and online teaching-learning methods. This approach is designed to mitigate the impact of weather-related disruptions or unforeseen circumstances, ensuring continuity in students' education.

The success of DMVS will serve as a blueprint for extending the hybrid learning model to all Delhi government schools. By leveraging technology and trained educators, the government aims to enhance the accessibility and flexibility of education.
