M. Venkaiah Naidu, Vice President of India, along with the Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha Mr. Harivansh attended a demonstration session of the 'AICTE Translation Automation Artificial Intelligence Tool'.

The AICTE officials demonstrated this unique tool which translates 'English language content into 11 different Indian languages'.

The presentation on the Tool was prepared by Prof. Anil D. Sahasrabudhe, AICTE Chairman, and Dr. Buddha Chandrasekhar, AICTE Chief Coordinating Officer, at Upa-Rashtrapati Nivas.

The Tool aims at translating the English language online programmes into 11 different languages i..e. Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Gujarati, Malayalam, Assamese, Punjabi, and Odia.

Dr. Buddha Chandrasekhar, while explaining about the Tool's features, informed that the English books, English videos, complex formulae, research journals, and Government documents can also be translated by the Tool.

The Vice President Naidu complimented the AICTE team for developing such an advanced and innovative tool.

He said that the AICTE has made his dream come true to see the various technical and professional courses' content in Indian languages. He commended AICTE and said, "Fine-tune the tool and present it to the nation at the earliest ".
