The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India has launched a mission ASIIM (Ambedkar Social Innovation And Incubation Mission) to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship among the SC students/ divyang youth. The Mission was launched on Sept 30, 2020, under the VCF-SC (Venture Capital Fund- Scheduled Caste).

Under the Mission, the entrepreneurs/ companies owned by SC (Scheduled Caste) registered/ enrolled with TBIs (Technology Business Incubators) are eligible for maximum capital of Rs. 30 lakh over the duration of 03 years i.e. Rs.10 lakh/ year. This financial support of Rs. 30 lakh shall be granted as equity funding to eligible candidates.

The information regarding the ASIIM (Ambedkar Social Innovation And Incubation Mission) was given by Ratan Lal Katarian, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment in his written reply in RajyaSabha.
