The profiles of the schools will consist of school category, school address, management, school management committee (SMC) contact details, Contact details of school Head Master, SMC contact details, land details, details about the nearest institution, Parliamentary Constituency, Legislative Assembly, and GPS location with pictures.
The schoolmaster of the Unified District Information System for Education Plus (UDISE+) will be operated in Siksha Setu Portal App. He said since UDISE+ is updated yearly, Siksha Setu Asom will be an active portal that will be updated on a regular basis.
The Minister informed that the Siksha Setu App is an innovative initiative to make administration in school education (private and government) more comfortable.
The information from the app will be helpful for the government to enforce the new National Education Policy (NEP 2020) in Assam. The Minister said we would collect the data from all government schools, private schools, and central schools, and for this, the government of Assam has delivered around 53,000 tablets to the school authorities.
