Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' has launched 46 AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy FDPs (Faculty Development Programmes) to train educators of higher educational institutions correlated with AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) in technological development.



According to the NEP (New Education Policy) 2020, these Faculty Development Programmes will be held across 22 Indian states.



The objective of ATAL Academy is to promote entrepreneurship and research through training in emerging streams and to grant quality technical education. These ATAL Programmes are being organized through NITs, IITs, IIITs, CU, and Research Labs.
