Bihar Govt's Initiative: Launched ePortal For Private Schools' Accredition

Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, State Education Minister, inaugurated a portal to facilitate the online accreditation procedure. The portal, E-Sambandhan, has been launched for private schools offering primary education across the state.
With the help of this online portal, the entire procedure will be done in a transparent manner which includes application submission, on-ground inspections' scheduling and applications' disposal to grant recognition to private schools.
Chaudhary, while speaking on the occasion, informed that the objective of this online portal is to help private school operators who wish to obtain the necessary NOC (No-Objection Certificate), recognition certificate, other important documents which is required by private schools to get affiliated to CISCE and CBSE boards, from the department. Now, they can upload their documents on the portal to register.
In addition, it will also help in maintaining a database regarding the number of students who have enrolled in private schools under RTE (Right to Education) Act, 2009.
Sanjay Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary, informed that the private school management who wish to obtain the NOC recognition can visit the website at edu-online.bihar.gov.in. The Govt has also provided the helpline number i.e. 7004070073 and 739000010 in case of any technical error.
Chaudhary also informed that the state middle and high schools are expected to reopen in August 2021. The crisis management group will take the final decision in this regard, he added.
