An initiative has been introduced by Tripura Govt., the 'Bochor Bachao' scheme, according to which the students who scored an aggregate of 150 marks but failed in two subjects can still be promoted to the next class in case of board exams or admission into college without wasting a year provided a retest will be conducted within 75 days of the board results.

This 'Bochor Bachao' exams will be conducted by the Tripura Board of Secondary Education for the first time and the advertisement regarding this will soon be issued.

Dr. Bhabatosh Saha, the president of TBSE, informed, "We have decided to conduct the examinations in Sept. as of now. The decision may be changed depending upon the Covid-19 situation."

The TBSE declared the results for class 10 on 3rd July and class 12 on 31st July. Around 5000 applications have been received by the Board to review the papers.
