The schools affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education have taken the decision to conduct Practice Tests for Class 12 students. The decision came after the meeting held by the Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal who made no announcement regarding the cancellation of Class 12 exams. The meeting was held with the education secretaries of different states/ UTs.

Although summer vacations have commenced, a special schedule has been set for the students of the Class 12 to clarify their doubts. After vacations, online classes will be initiated and the test will be conducted.

In case the Board decides to cancel the exam in the future, this test will provide clarity while marking students' scores, as reported by many schools.

The internal assessment marks have already been submitted by most of the schools. All schools have also finished their additional mock-tests and pre-boards.

Birla High School will be conducting the Tests from May 24. Principal of the school Loveleen Saigal said that the school is required to stay in touch with the students.
