Bhupesh Baghel Chhattisgarh Chief Minister announced the provision of free education to the Economically Weaker Section-EWS and other backward categories for their competitive exam preparation.

Around 400 students of scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes, and Economically Weaker Sections will obtain free education from Reputed coaching institutes for CA, CLAT, Engineering, Medicals, and others.

On Wednesday, Bhupesh Bhagel stated that now the Economically Weaker Sections students of Chhattisgarh will soon satisfy the facility of free coaching for All India Engineering and Medical entrance examinations and other competitive examinations- CA, CS, CLAT, and NDA. He added that this initiative is being commenced in order to secure the future of the economically weaker section and consideration of the aspirations and the economic tribulations of the family of the students who want to follow different kinds of occupation options.

The Concerned department is instructed by CM to arrange the coaching for students from- Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Tribes, and Economically Weaker Sections.

There is already a requirement of free coaching for all Indian engineering and medical entrance examinations etc., for students who belong to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes as well as Other Backward Classes in the state. But after this new initiative, students of the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category will also acquire the facility of free coaching.

The officials of the Tribal and Scheduled Castes Department stated that in the current final year- 2022-23, around 400 students of Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, and EWS would be offered free-of-cost coaching facilities for various competitive examinations.

Officials stated that students would get coaching for admission in courses including NSTE, PET PMT, CA and CS & CLAT, JEE main and advance, AIIMS, NEET, and NDA. Coaching for these examinations will be given to the students via reputed coaching institutes in Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg, and Bhilai.
