The Delhi government has launched the first-of-its-kind 'Business Blasters' tv programme. This televised event has been launched to provide Class 11 and Class 12 students an opportunity to present their start-up ideas to investors and receive investment capital to proceed with their idea to the next level.



Under the show, the business ideas of the students will be included which have been shortlisted from 51,000 entries submitted by around 03 lakh students.



Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia informed that the Business Blasters is an extraordinary start-up programme and an integral part of the education revolution that the govt wishes to bring in capital and gradually across the nation. Under the programme, 03 lakh ideas have been submitted by 51,000 students and the amount of Rs 60 crore will be granted as seed capital, notified Sisodia.



He added that the 'Business Blasters' is a significant practical component of the EMC (Entrepreneur Mindset Curriculum) for Class 11 and Class 12 students. The programme has been designed to provide the Delhi govt school students' the experience of teamwork, brainstorming and identifying the social issues or business opportunities, preparing business plans/ ideas and implementation of these ideas, he added.



An amount of Rs. 2000 will be awarded to all participating students as seed money which can be used by the teams to either create social impact or earn profit. The shortlisted students will be granted the opportunity to present their ideas to the experts.
