Delhi University UG Admission Process To Probably Start in September
The admission portal for the academic year 2022-23 has been set in place, which delivers an information bulletin and other relevant details. Delhi University has recently released a list of certificates and documents required for the admission process in undergraduate courses.

The Delhi University admissions process for undergraduate (UG) students will probably start in September 2022. The admission portal for the academic year 2022-23 has been set in place, which delivers an information bulletin and other relevant details.
Delhi University has recently released a list of certificates and documents required for the admission process in undergraduate courses.
List of documents and certificates required for DU UG 2022:
- X and XII standard mark sheet and certificate
- Date of birth
- Valid email ID
- Valid Mobile number
- Address proof
- Graduation or another qualifying exam mark sheet
- Scanned photograph and signature
- ID proof- voter ID, PAN card, Aadhar card, driving license, etc.
- SC/ST/PWD certificate (if possible)
- Category certificate (if possible)
The University changed its admission process this year as there is no traditional cut-off mark-based admission procedure based on Class 12 board exam marks to the entrance examination-based admission process. From now on, students seeking admission at Delhi University Entrance Test- CUET UG.
Presently, the University posted a notification and listed some essential documents required to apply for UG admission at Delhi University. The University also notified students to be ready with the mentioned documents by August 31. This would signify that Delhi University (DU) plans to start the admissions process in September. So, students, who want to take admissions at Delhi University, are recommended to check the admission portal regularly after the declaration of the CUET UG 2022 result.
Last year, some states and central education boards canceled the examinations for Class 12 students due to the COVID-19 pandemic and used alternative techniques to prepare results. That is why many students obtained high marks in Class 12.
Therefore, the cut-off marks at renowned colleges of Delhi University expanded significantly. The first and second rounds closed with cut-off marks as high as 99 or 100. So, in order to tackle this problem, the University decided to switch to entrance-based admissions in 2022.
