Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, gave a suggestion to the Union Education Minister Dr. Pokhriyal regarding the result for Class 12 students. He suggested that the marks of Class 10, Class 11, and Pre-Board exams should be taken into account while evaluating the results for the Class 12 students.

Earlier, the Govt cancelled the CBSE Class 12 board exams due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Centre also advised the CBSE to compile an assessment criteria in a time-bound manner. A 13-member committee was set up by the CBSE to suggest a criteria within 10 days.

Sisodia wrote a letter to Union Education Minister suggesting the following evaluation criteria for theory subjects which contain 70 marks each:

Weightage

Exams

30 marks

Pre-Board

20 marks

Class 10 & 11 (each)

30 marks

Practical

He further added that a moderation of plus 2 or minus 2 marks has been permitted by the CBSE which will depend upon the concerned school's result in the past three years but he is suggesting a moderation of plus 5 or minus 5 marks for Class 12.
