The estimable girls belonging to Kangra district will be provided free coaching classes to prepare for competitive exams. The program is being held under the administration's Jijevisha initiative supported by Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign.

Around 26 girls have been selected for the program and the selection has been done on the basis of their performance in the online exam which was held on 02 August 2020.

The free coaching amenity will be provided for two-year to these students for the preparation of National-Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test and Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination, as informed by Rakesh Kumar Prajapati, Kangra Deputy Commissioner. The coaching will be provided through online media.

He also added that in time more students would be added under the program.
