The Indian Institute of Bombay has declared the date for the GATE 2021 i.e. from February 05 to February 14, 2021. The dates for the GATE has been spread out as 5 Feb, 6 Feb, 7 Feb, 12 Feb, 13 Feb, 14 Feb due to the corona pandemic.

This year, the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering can be attempted by students of Humanity background as well along with Engineering and Science students and two new subjects have also been added in this regard which takes the count of total subjects to 27. These subjects are Environmental Science and Engineering and Humanities and Social Sciences.

Furthermore, the eligibility criteria have also been reduced for the GATE 2021 from 10+2+4 to 10+2+3 which means the candidates studying in their 3rd year of graduation are also eligible to apply.
