As per the information, Indian students having foreign degrees from recognized universities are now eligible for government jobs in Bihar.

The GAD General Administration Department gave a statement that said It has been decided that an Indian citizen, including a resident of Bihar state, who possesses a valid degree from a recognized foreign university is now eligible for applying for Bihar government jobs. The Education Department had desired sentiment from the GAD ( General Administration Department) concerning the validity of degrees enclosed by applicants.

Additional Chief Secretary Dipak Singh told (PTI) that intermediate, senior secondary, and higher secondary of the authorized boards in Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Pakistan will also be eligible for the Bihar government jobs, but only if the education has been pursued through a regular mode and is valid. Dipak Singh added to the statement that a newspaper announcement will be issued soon. According to the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), the qualifications and diplomas pursued by the students online and in a long-distance manner will not be appraised for equality.

Only those students eligible who have pursued their education from a recognized university should be recognized by the competent authorities in their own country and also by AIU.

It is mainly concerned with the recognition of the degrees and diplomas offered by the Indian universities and which are authorized by UGC ( University Grants Commission) and abroad for admission in higher degree courses in Indian varsities.
