'Indigenous Knowledge Corners' are being set up by schools in remote areas of Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar districts where the education will be provided using teaching-learning material put together by collecting resources from people.

Keonjhar District Coordinator of Tribal Education DP Nilay said, "Indigenous knowledge corners in schools are an attempt to provide a learning ecosystem based on students' culture, helping them improve their competence in learning".

At present, state schools are closed due to the corona pandemic.
