The Joint Entrance Examination - Mains 2021 will be held from July 20 to July 25 and July 27 to August 02, 2021, notified Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal. He also informed that the number of examination centres will be increased in every shift from 660 to 828.

The Union Education Minister also said that the NTA (National Testing Agency) will conduct the third and fourth sessions of the JEE-Main 2021 from July 20 onwards. Earlier, the April and May sessions were postponed due to the COVID situation.

As per the NTA document shared by Dr. Pokhriyal, the application form can be submitted online for Session 03 (April 2021) (postponed) BE/BTech Paper I" from July 6 to July 8, 2021

For Session 04, the application form can be submitted for (May 2021) (postponed) BE/BTech Paper 1 and B Arch (Paper 2A) B Planning (Paper 2B) from July 9 to July 12, 2021.

The Minister also said that the security, safety, and bright future of the students is the govt's top priority.

He tweeted, "There were some concerns among the students regarding #JEE(Main)-2021 Examination during Covid. PM Narendra Modiji has always said that the safety, security, and bright future of our students should be the highest priorities of the Education Ministry".

He added that all related COVID-19 protocols and guidelines will be followed at all exam centres.
