The Primary and Secondary Education Minister of Karnataka S Suresh Kumar announced on Friday that the state govt. aims at implementing the New Education Policy by August itself.

The Education Minister also informed that the state has prepared its own draft policy which will be merged with the NEP. Mr. Kumar was in the video conference with the former ISRO chairman K Kasturirangan who also headed the draft committee when he informed about the news. He also mentioned that the policy will be dedicated to the public by August 20.

"Karnataka is eager to implement this policy" was the statement given by the Education Minister.
