The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the National Strategy for Financial Education: 2020-2025 document which is a second one after the 2013-18 NSFE. This document got approved in 24th meeting of the FSDC-SC which was held in June 2020. The Deputy Governor of RBI Mr. M.K. Jain released the document.



This document has been prepared by the NCFE (National Centre for Financial Education) after having consulted with DFS, Financial Sector Regulators such as RBI, IRDAI, SEBI & PFRDA, Ministries of Govt. of India and other stakeholders under the sponsorship of the Technical Group on Financial Inclusion and Financial Literacy under the presidency of RBI's Deputy Governor.



To promulgate the financial education in the country, a 5 'C' approach has been recommended including the significance of relevant content in schools, colleges and training organisations; developing magnitude among intercessors which are providing financial services; communication strategy to influence the positive effect for financial literacy and to augment various collaborations with stakeholders.
