Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal, Union Education Minister, announced that the NCERT (National Council od Education Research and Training) has organised a survey to acknowledge the synopsis of Online Education during the corona pandemic. He also added that the NCERT has prepared 'Students Learning Enhancement Guidelines' and 'Alternate Academic Calendar' to fulfill the loss or gap of education of students.



The survey was organised by NCERT with the assistance of CBSE (Central Board of School Education), KVS (Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangthan), and NVS (Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti) in July 2020, as per the statement issued by the Education Minister. He also added that the calendar has been shared with all the states, UTs, KVS, NVS, CBSE, and CTSA (Central Tibetan Schools Administration).



The guidelines issued by NCERT suggest the learning enhancement for students during the pandemic with, without, and with limited access to digital devices.



The calendar contains class and subjects wise detailed information that is available in four languages: English, Hindi, Sanskrit and Urdu.
