The Supreme Court directed NTA (National Testing Agency) to conduct the NEET exam for candidates who couldn't appear for the exam. The SC has directed the NTA to schedule the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for candidates who missed the first round due to the COVID pandemic.

The Cheif Justice SA Bobde, leading three-judge bench, made the decision allowing NTA to conduct the exam. The second round of the NEET exam is scheduled to be held on October 14, 2020.

More than 15 lakh candidates appeared for the first round of the NEET exam which was conducted on September 13, 2020.
