National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) has recently collaborated with HDFC Life to impart skills among youngsters in the insurance sector in a proposal to promote livelihood creation and boost entrepreneurship opportunities.

NSDC will support HDFC Life in inducting qualified life insurance advisors as part of this collaboration. It will also deliver training to candidates undergoing the IC38 examination led by the Insurance Regulatory & Development Authority of India (IRDAI) and drive skill enhancement.

NSDC stated that further, by imparting soft skills, this partnership will streamline opportunities for the youth to explore self-employment opportunities for sustainable livelihood. The learners will be trained in soft skills that will groom them professionally, thus allowing them to connect better with future customers.

Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO & MD, NSDC, termed the collaboration with HDFC Life as an essential effort to strengthen the existing or current talent and upskill them in the insurance sector according to the market requirements.
