The National Testing Agency has released the comprehensive protocol for the NEET examination which is to be conducted in September month. Around 15 lakh students would be appearing for the exam and to handle the social distancing and safety standard for these students would be a huge responsibility for the authorities.

The staggered time interval will be given to the students so that overcrowding at examination centres could be ignored. All students and staff members will be checked for fever at the entrance with Thermo guns and separate Isolation Rooms will also be arranged for teachers and students in case they have any COVID-19 symptoms.

The candidates will be allowed to take a hand sanitizer bottle, a water bottle, exam related documents in addition to masks and gloves for themselves. The metal detector frisking will be mandatory and will be done by the security personnel ensuring no contact between the detector and the candidates. The attendance of the candidates will be marked manually with signature while wearing the gloves and no thumb impressions will be taken. The documents will be checked from 03-feet distance by the authorities without being in contact with the document.
