The Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Marketing program has been launched by the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Lucknow. The programme is set to start from next month and will be of one-year duration divided into two terms.

Prof Arun Mohan Sherry, Director of IIIT Lucknow, said that the programme has been designed to attain the need for enthusiastic and ambitious students amidst the pandemic situation.

He also added that the online reputation management and viral marketing would strengthen the profile of the students that would make them competent in the digital marketing world. He further added, "For the first time, a technical institute of national importance is offering a program in digital marketing. This program is suitable for both full-time students who wish to build a strong foundation in this area and the working executives looking forward to upgrading their existing skills".

The selection process consists of two steps: Screening and Interview. Candidates having a Graduation in any stream from any recognized university are eligible to apply for the course. The candidates who are studying in final year are also eligible to apply.

The screening would be done on the basis of the sent applications and the selected candidates would be notified by email for the next round i.e. Personal Interview. The selection will be based on communication skills, problem-solving and analytical skills, subject related knowledge, and general awareness.
