The Punjab Govt has reopened schools for all classes. The physical classes have also been resumed for pre-primary levels after a long gap caused by COVID.

The attendance of students from rural areas has been high as compared to many private schools.

The state government permitted the schools' reopening for all classes from Aug 2 as the Covid restrictions have also been relaxed following the declined cases.

The Govt has also informed that all COVID-related protocols must be strictly followed. The written consent from the parents will still be needed for their children to attend physical schools which will be held from 8 am to 2 pm.

Earlier, the Govt had reopened the schools for pre-primary levels and for Class 1 and Class 2 across the state.

The schools have already been reopened by the government for Class 10 to Class 12 from July 26.



The Govt has also informed that the virtual classes will continue for those students who are unable to attend physical classes.
