A #Railway_GroupD_ExamDate is trending on various social platforms as candidates are still waiting for exam updates. It's been two years since the candidates have filled the application form for the Railway Group D job, also known as RRB Group D/ RRC Group D Exams, but no update or confirmation has been provided yet.

The job aspirants who have applied for the exam are requesting Ashwini Vaishnaw, Railway Minister, to release the exam date or any confirmation of the RRB Group D Exam.

The Railway Recruitment Cells notified a total of 103769 posts under Group D in Indian Railways. The selection of the candidates will be held through a CBT (Computer-Based Test) and a Physical Efficiency Test followed by the Document Verification.

The RRB released notification for the exam in March 2019 along with the RRB NTPC exam.

Earlier in Dec 2020, the railway authorities had assured the candidates to conduct the exams in a phased manner. The authorities had assured to conduct the RRB NTPC in Phase-1 and informed to conduct Group D exam immediately after that. The assurance was provided before the initiation of the pending exams.

The RRB NTPC Exam was held on July 31, 2021, but no update regarding the Group D exam has been notified.

The last update was issued on Oct 16, 2020, stating that the railway is in the process to appoint an external agency to conduct the exams.

The application notification for the exam was released on July 24, 2019, and the applicants' candidature has also been approved.
