Rajasthan Govt Approved the Additional Budget of Rs 65 Crore for the Scheme for Free Higher Education Abroad
The scheme offers free education to 200 students in prestigious international institutions annually, and 30 percent of seats are reserved for women. Under the Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship for Academic Excellence scheme, students from Rajasthan can study in the top 150 universities and institutions of the world.

Recently, the Rajasthan government authorized an additional budget provision of Rs. 65 crores for 2022-2023 under the Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship for Academic Excellence scheme for youths who wish to pursue higher education abroad.



The scheme offers free education to 200 students in prestigious international institutions annually, and 30 percent of seats are reserved for women. Under the Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship for Academic Excellence scheme, students from Rajasthan can study in the top 150 universities and institutions of the world.



The institutes and universities, including Oxford University, Harvard University, Stanford University, California Institute of Technology, Princeton University, University of Toronto, and Cambridge University, will be considered under the scholarship.



Priority is provided to students with a family income of less than Rs. 8 lakhs. Students with a family income of over Rs 25 lakh can apply under the scheme.
