The Rajasthan Government has taken the decision to raise the scholarship amount along with the annual family income limitation for the students studying in Sainik Schools across the state.

The state government will be providing Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 37,500 to the students studying under Sainik Schools in Jhunjhunu and Chittorgarh, as per the official statement. Earlier, the scholarship amount was Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 25,000.

As per the proposal of the Finance Department approved by Ashok Gehlot, Chief Minister, the students studying in Sainik School and having annual income of Rs. 1.2 lakh will be paid Rs. 25,000 of full scholarship for tuition fee. This limit has been amended as the raised amount of Rs. 37,500 will be paid now to students having annual income of Rs. 03 lakh.
