In Delhi, government and private schools are being reopened for the students of Class 10 and Class 12 after the nationwide lockdown caused by the corona pandemic. The schools which were shut down for a long duration of 10-months are advised to keep in mind the COVID safety protocols.

The decision was taken after the release of the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) Board Examination schedule which is scheduled to be conducted in May.

Manish Sisodia, Education Minister and Deputy Chief Minister, wished students and tweeted, "Best Wishes to the students of class 10 & 12 who are going to visit their school after 10 months.. (though it's only for limited purpose and sith COVID protocols..) But still.. I am glad that schools are opening in Delhi today".
