The State Education Minister Krishna Nandan announced that the grace marks would be awarded to the students of matric and intermediate classes who couldn't clear their one or two subjects by few marks. The matric and intermediate exams were conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board.

The list of the candidates who have been awarded the grace marks has been released by the Ministry.

The decision has been taken keeping in mind the current pandemic situation. "It was not possible for the Board to conduct the compartment exams due to the corona pandemic. Awarding grace marks is a one-time exception," was the statement issued by the Education Minister.
