The educated family members of the students studying in upper primary and government-run primary schools will be invited to visit the school establishments and collect the weekly homework and study plan for their children.

The initiative has been started by the Uttar Pradesh Govt. under which parents, elder siblings, uncles and aunts, whoever is educated enough to help in their child's education, would be urged to come to school to meet with their child's concerned teacher, as per the statement given by the department official.

Vijay Kiran Anand, Director General of School Education has circulated detailed instructions regarding the initiative to all BSAs (Bal Shiksha Adhikaris) through a memorandum dated 17 September.

The initiative has been started for the school kids who could not access the resources or study materials provided through online mediums, smartphones or WhatsApp groups.

As per the issued missive, the teachers are instructed to invite guardians/ parents in a group of 10 every Monday and describe them the study plan for the whole week for their children. The teachers will also provide solutions to any queries and would also make sure to encourage students to access e-content which is available online.

Various TLMs (Teaching Learning Materials) and educational videos will be shared by the teachers to students and these resources will be made available to teachers thrice a week.
