Trivendra Singh Rawat, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, launched the free of cost high-speed WiFi services at a college n Doiwala for all government colleges and universities across the state.

As claimed by the Chief Minister, the free internet service provided by the Govt. to all govt. colleges and universities have made Uttrakhand the first state in the country to do so. He further added that the free internet connection service will play a significant role in students' education.

He also claimed that this step could serve as a milestone towards the 'Digital India' initiative, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream, to connect the 'old with the modern'.
