The Education Minister of the Andhra Pradesh state has made the 'Vidya Varadhi' vehicle available to provide education for rural students. These vehicles have been launched by the State's Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh. The vehicles have been made available to 13 districts.

In the corona time, education is not accessible to every student and there are lakhs of students who do not have access to technological equipment to continue their study through online mode. Minister Suresh said that the van will go to every district and make it accessible to students.

The academic calendar has also been minimized due to the corona pandemic and the new session will start from 5th September. The vehicle will conduct classes until schools reopen.

On Monday, the vehicle was flagged off at Patamata's Girls' High School by the District Education Officer Rajyalakshmi.

The Mandal Educational Officers have been given duties to point out the localities having less or no digital facility so that the Vehicle can be made available for the students of that area. The teachers of the areas will be available to any student in case of doubts/ queries. Books will also be lent to students from the school libraries.

The Vehicle will conduct two sessions every day to cover two mandals.
