The local SHGs (Self Help Groups) - Mission Shakti are maintaining the school infrastructure, assets, and gardens of the schools developed under the Mo School Abhiyan.

The School and Mass Education Department has handed over the maintenance work to the SHGs.

The Department Secretary Satyabrata Sahu announced the decision in the 27th Executive Council meeting of Mo School Abhiyan. The Council will soon submit the proposal to the state govt regarding this.

The Department will conduct orientation programmes of the teachers to enhance their digital skills. For this purpose, an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with 'Quest Alliance' is also being prepared. The aim is to make 20,000 teachers from 4000 schools and 16 lakh students digitally competent within the upcoming 03 years.

Within a month, 30,768 alumni have joined the Abhiyan to develop their respective schools and have made the donation of approx Rs. 07.32 crore. The donated amount has increased to Rs. 21.96 crore after adding the share of the state government. The Bharat Gyan Vigyan Samiti and Pratham will conduct the learning camps in around 5000 locations for the primary school students of both urban and rural areas.

A special team has also been instructed to assess the progress of the project.
