1M1B Foundation Signed Agreement to Train Students & Teachers; National Education Society for Tribal Students
The programme trains both students and teachers in (AR) augmented reality and (VR) virtual reality using the AR-VR curriculum introduced by the CBSE. The programme aims to carry out training and capacity-building programmes for teachers and students of EMRS.

(NESTS)- The national education society for tribal students and the 1 Million for 1 Billion foundations signed an MoU in order to train teachers and students in (EMRSs)- Eklavya Model Residential Schools.
The programme trains both students and teachers in (AR) augmented reality and (VR) virtual reality using the AR-VR curriculum introduced by the (CBSE) Central Board for Secondary Education. The programme aims to carry out training and capacity-building programmes for teachers and students of EMRS. In the pilot phase, the programme will be Eklavya Model Residential Schools in Rajasthan and Uttarakhand.
NESTS, in cooperation with 1M1B, seeks to engage students of EMRSs in nation-building by allowing teachers and students to understand the opportunities proposed by emerging technologies and become creators utilizing AR and VR to construct India’s Metaverse.
In line with NEP 2020, this partnership will provide students of EMRSs with exposure to visual, experiential, and immersive learning that shall improve human infrastructure resources for the country. Asit Gopal, NESTS Commissioner, and Manav Subhodh, 1M1B managing director, signed the agreement in the presence of the 1M1B and NESTS team.
1M1B is a non-profit US-based company accredited to the United Nations Organisation with special consultative status to the UN (ECOSOC) Economic and Social Council associated with the UN Department of Global Communications.
