Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has introduced an innovative program known as the 'Raja Jwala Prasad Post-Doctoral Fellowship.' This scheme seeks to incentivize and empower faculty members who successfully secure external funding for research endeavors.



Duration and Compensation



The fellowship spans one year, with the possibility of extension for another year, contingent on performance and the availability of funds under the Institution of Eminence. Fellows will receive a consolidated monthly salary of Rs 60,000, along with a monthly House Rent-All.



Significantly Boosting Research Activity



Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sudhir Kumar Jain expressed that the fellowship will play a pivotal role in scaling up research activities at the university. It is expected to attract a substantial number of talented postdoctoral researchers.
