Bihar Education Department has launched two interactive programmes on 'Resourceful Teaching' for the teachers and principals.

The courses hav been developed by the SCERT (State Council of Educational Research and Training) in partnership with a non-profit organisation Mantra4Change. The online programmes can be accessed on DIKSHA platform.

Giriwar Dayal Singh, Director of Secondary Education, while detailing about the courses, informed that this online training programme ais being introduced to enrich teachers' knowledge since the schools are closed. The objective of the training is to keep the learning curiosity of teachers attentive and to grant new skills for contemplating subject topics.

He also said that it will improve the learning and teaching quality at government schools.

Director of Primary Education Ranjit Kumar Singh informed that all class 08 to class 12 teachers have been advised to undergo the training programme as it is mandatory. The programme is free of cost and can be joined online.The training and workshop of teachers is beneficial at regular intervals to improve their teaching style.

All District Education Officers have been directed to create a community of teachers and headmasters to share learning materials. All the well-performed teachers in the training will be felicitated by the department.

The online programme will conclude on June 18, 2021.
