Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister, has launched the Delhi government's "Business Blasters" programme. The Govt will implement the programme in all the govt schools under the 'Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum'. The aim of the program is to develop young entrepreneurs at the school level.



Sisodia said, "I am proud to launch this Business Blasters programme". He added that the programme is going to be the building material in the nation's development.

As part of the programme, Class 11 and Class 12 students will be provided with an initial investment of Rs. 2,000 to start a business.



Through this initiative, the govt aims at taking the country to be a developed nation from a developing nation, the minister added.



The programme has been launched after the successful completion of the pilot project. The pilot project was launched at the School of Excellence Khichripur. Its objective was to introduce the theory in children that whatever work/ project they do, they must do it with an entrepreneurial attitude, added Sisodia.



Under the project, a total of 09 groups of 41 children were created. Each child was granted an initial investment of Rs. 1,000 and these kids turned these investments into huge profits, he said.

Under the program, the Govt will train the children for entrepreneurship skills. The competitions will be organized at the district and state levels. A total of 1000 children will be shortlisted for the district-level competition. Out of 1000, 10 winners be finalized. The winners will get direct admission to Delhi Technological University, Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, and the Netaji Subhas University of Technology.
