Delhi University, as part of its phased reopening amidst the pandemic outbreak, will be allowing access to four more libraries across its campus to research scholars and faculty members.
The varsity has granted access to reopen Central Science Library, South Delhi Campus Library, Ratan Tata Library and Faculty of Law Library for M.Phil/ Ph.D. scholars and faculty members. Earlier, access was granted central library by the authorities. The authorities have also informed that the users must make prior registration to use the facilities on weekdays and permission will be granted via email by the librarian before visiting.
The official notice from the University also mentioned, "Library facilities under Delhi University Library System will be made operational in phases. in the first phase, only bona fide faculty members, M.Phil/ Ph.D. scholars will be allowed to use library reading room facilities. The reading room facilities would be limited from 10 am to 04 pm during the weekdays i.e. Monday to Friday".

The facility to borrow and return books will also be allowed and no 'late return fee' will be charged for the COVID-19 pandemic period.
