Directorate of Medical Education Expanded in-service Quota Seats from 15% to 20%
The Directorate of Medical Education has expanded postgraduate medical courses government quota seats for in-service applicants from 15 percent to 20 percent for the academic year of 2022-23. Earlier, the Directorate had secured 206 postgraduate medical seats for the in-service applicants, which has now expanded to 279.

Due to an order of the Karnataka High Court, the Directorate of Medical Education has expanded postgraduate medical courses government quota seats for in-service applicants from 15 percent to 20 percent for the academic year of 2022-23.



Earlier, the Directorate had secured 206 postgraduate medical seats for the in-service applicants, which has expanded to 279.



Meanwhile, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) announced a list of 1,793 candidates with incomplete documents to help their reservation for UGCET-2022. The majority of the candidates’ details, such as caste, income, and Revenue Document numbers, were incompatible.



On November 2, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) called the candidates, along with the required documents in support of their reservation/claim in the UGCET application. In case of inquiry, candidates can contact mail ID: ugcet2022documents@gmail.com.
