The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi has launched an interactive IIT-PAL website at iitpal.iitd.ac.in. The objective of the initiative is to provide free video lectures to the students of Class 11 and Class 12 students for the preparation of competitive exams such as NEET, JEE, IAT, and others.

Earlier, the Ministry of Education started the initiative with an aim to improve their understanding of the science subjects such as Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Maths and to support self-studying students to perform better in competitive exams like NEET, JEE, IAT, and others.

Now, IIT Delhi has brought all resources together and launched a website.

The IIT-PAL website, iitpal.iitd.ac.in, will act as a single platform for students across the country as they can access video lectures telecasted on the Swayam Prabha Channels of the Ministry of Education and interact live with IIT Professors and ask queries.

Prof Joby Joseph of IIT Delhi who is also National Coordinator of IIT-PAL said, "This website will be helpful to students especially from regions where they may not have access to specialist teachers in science subjects and coaching opportunities".

This website will provide videos and lectures related to Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology of Class 11 and Class 12 as per the NCERT syllabus.

Moreover, the registered students can also submit their topic-wise doubts in either language i.e. English or Hindi. A team of professors/ experts will revert back to these queries and selected answers will be posted on the website, which will be available to be viewed to all registered students.

The registered students will also have the facility to request a live interaction on specific topics in either English or Hindi.
