The Curiosity Lab and Centre for Cognitive and Brain Sciences of the Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar are organizing an online camp to introduce artificial intelligence, cognitive science, and neuroscience. Under the camp, the aim of the Lab is to introduce the aforementioned subjects to children, parents, and teachers.



The camp 'Camp CogSci' has been introduced for the school students of Class 08 to Class 12. The aim of the camp is to generate curiosity, enthusiasm, and enjoyment for school students, teachers, and parents.



The objective of the sessions is to introduce students to the educational and professional opportunities that exist within the Cognitive Science stream.



The Centre has scheduled the 'Camp CogSci' from Jan 07 to Jan 09, 2022. The interested candidates can register for the camp through the official website at curiositylab.iitgn.ac.in/camp.



The Principal Investigator of the Curiosity Lab, IIT Gandhinagar Jaison A Manjaly that the Curiosity Camp will provide an opportunity for students, parents, and teachers to analyze the prospect offered by Cognitive Science in various fields of science, technology, and society.



"The Curiosity Camps aim to introduce novel perspectives in learning while building awareness of the multiple career paths that exist and are supported by institutions such as the IITs", he added.



The camp will also create opportunities for school students to interconnect with faculty from higher education institutions.
