India & Nepal Signed an Agreement for Three Projects in the Education and Healthcare sectors
The building of the above projects would deliver better education facilities, improved health care facilities, and safe drinking water facilities for the local residents and enhance the quality of life for people in Nepal at a total estimated expense of Rs 101.79 million.

India recently signed an agreement with the Nepal government worth up to Rs. 101 million for accelerating three projects in the education and healthcare sectors and delivering safe drinking water in the Himalayan nation.



The Indian Embassy said the execution of these projects reflects the continued support of the Government of India in facilitating efforts of the Government of Nepal to uplift its people. It added as close neighbors, India and Nepal share comprehensive and multi-sectoral cooperation.



It said the building of the above projects would deliver better education facilities, improved health care facilities, and safe drinking water facilities for the local residents and enhance the quality of life for people in Nepal at a total estimated expense of Rs 101.79 million. Since 2003, India has taken up more than 532 (HICDPs)- High Impact Development Projects in Nepal and completed 476 projects in the areas of health, education, sanitation, drinking water, connectivity, and the creation of other public utilities across all seven regions of Nepal at the grassroots level.
